Dr. Staneckyj is a full body Functional Range Release® practitioner, a certified Functional Range Conditioning® mobility specialist as well as a Graston Technique provider.  He is a Certified Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Provider from the McMaster University Contemporary Acupuncture for Health Professionals program.  Dr. Staneckyj has successfully completed courses in Active Release Techniques for Upper Limb, Lower Limb and Spine and holds qualifications for Neurodynamics Solutions: Upper & Lower Quarter.  These certifications and methods are extremely valuable in the treatment of muscle, nerve, tendon and ligament injuries.  They are effective in the management of minor aches and pains, athletic injuries, repetitive strain injuries and chronic postural issues.

In addition to all of his educational accolades, Dr. Staneckyj demonstrates his knowledge and passion of his practice through his persistent, enthusiastic involvement in numerous extra-curricular activities.  He has been the recipient of multiple educational awards, most notably the Clarence N. Flick Memorial Award, for his active participation in research projects during his matriculation at NYCC, and the Distinguished Service Award, for his dedication to serving the community at NYCC through extracurricular activities.  His clinical internship included roles at the Buffalo Veterans Affairs Medical Center (an honours position selected through a competitive application process) in Buffalo, New York and studying under the guidance of Chiropractic Sports Specialist, Dr. Jeff Cubos of Back on Track Chiropractic in Spruce Grove, Alberta.  Such outreach clinical settings provide unique patient cases that cover enhanced complexity and the challenge of clinical case management.

Dr. Staneckyj enjoys working with patients and athletes alike who want to achieve optimal health and performance, and takes pride in serving his home community.  In his spare time, Nicholas has brought his past hockey experience and leadership back to his hometown.  He successfully completed and obtained Hockey Canada’s High Performance Level 1 Coaching Certification and served as a volunteer head coach within the Sudbury Minor Hockey Association at various levels.  Dr. Staneckyj now spends his time free time away from clinic with his lovely wife and their two young beautiful daughters.
